Frequently Asked Questions:
Is Permanent Make-up for Me? Make-up undoubtedly boosts our confidence; 90% of women use cosmetics every single day, and without exception, all of us think we look better and feel more attractive wearing make up.
~~ THANK YOU For Considering Permanent Makeup ~~
- Who can benefit? Anyone and everyone! Many women will find it saves them precious time every morning, gives the face a ‘younger’ and healthier looking appearance and has the obvious benefit staying put 24/7!
- Does the procedure hurt? Although sensations will vary, we consider comfort of paramount importance and the application of anesthetic prior to treatment to minimize discomfort. The first pass through is the most discomforting, and then the topical anesthetic is able to numb the area of procedure. Annoying, but not unbearable.
- How long does the procedure take to complete? An hour and half to two hours is the amount of time you should allow, but procedure times vary according to what is required.
- Do I have a choice of colors? Yes! A wide spectrum of colors is available to choose from.
- What type of ink is used? There are no inks or dyes used only iron oxides.
- How Long Will It Last? Procedures can fade over time as new skin grows, so the procedure may have to be repeated every 3-4 years, depending on each client’s skin conditions. Skin types and external factors contribute to the length of time that the pigments last.
- Post Procedure Expectations ---Heal, Peel, and Fade. Treated areas will initially look slightly dark and lighten after a few days.. Approximately 4-6 days during the healing period, a light scab will form. This will flake off over the healing period. A certain amount of color loss is experienced after healing. A month after your initial procedure, a follow-up appointment is scheduled, and any adjustments will be completed.
- Consultation Not sure if Permanent Make-up is for you? Free consultations can be scheduled.
Clients may be required to have a physician release written for these invasive procedures. Patient’s health and safety is number one top priority.
